It’s trade show season and Ellipse is in full
marketing mode! At trade shows in Texas and Florida
our giveaways were a hot commodity and we wanted to
make it an interactive experience for our prospects
and clients. In order to get one of our great
giveaways, a stuffed cow, you were required to give
us a “Unique Internet Marketing Idea” and wear a big
button that says “Ask me how I got my cow!” We
actually got people to market our trade show booth
for us. The response was unbelievable! The ideas
that we received were really off the wall but in
keeping with the spirit of the effort we gladly gave
them cows! So, we are passing these Internet
marketing ideas on to you so you can market your
website in new and innovative ways.
The Most
Creative Ideas

Deliver donuts to the local fitness centers with
your web address on the box. That will get their
attention and you will be driving them to your
fitness center!
- Place
your website address on the back of your
maintenance personnel’s uniforms.

Sponsor a local pee wee team with your website
address on their uniforms.
- Go to
newspaper machines and for $.50 you can stamp
all of the newspapers in the machine with your
website address.
- Give
away dog collars at the local dog park with your
website address painted on it.
- Have
your website address printed on the back of
grocery store receipts.

Advertise your website address at the movie
theaters.
We wanted
to get people to think “outside of the box.” If we
can get our clients to do the same then our clients
will be successful and so will Ellipse! Our motto is

Strangest Ideas

Advertise your website address on a rickshaw.
- Have a
parachute with your website address on it and
jump out of a perfectly good airplane over an
area with a high population.
- Put a
banner with your website address on an ice cream
truck that sells ice cream on your competition’s
property.

Temporary tattoos of your website address on
your forehead.
- Your
website address mowed into the outfield of the
local baseball team.
- Make
bars of soap with your website address on it.
- Put
your website address on a hot air balloon.
- Write
your website address in the dirt on the back of
an 18 wheeler! Now that’s free nationwide
advertising!
- A
property mascot waving a sign with your website
address. This works for colleges and
universities and it will work for you!
